“I grew up in an environment where variety of crops were planted, so also is raising of different animals, coupled with being blessed with parents that encouraged it, but I was more interested in raising animals, practically I raised almost all domestic animals by myself before the age of 15, I developed so much interest which prompted me to go study Animal production and health, even though I applied to University of Ilorin for animal science but chances were against me so I proceeded to Federal University of Technology Akure, where I was taught by seasoned experts in the field and I graduated to practice what I have learnt and that was how Tritee Agro was birthed.”

Why Rabbit Meat?
“Tritee Agro as a body is involved in raising different livestocks including rabbits and over the years we have seen that majority of rabbit farmers all want to breed rabbits and sell as breeding stocks not wanting to serve to the public this palatable and nutritious meat, that aside it was a sad reality some time back when the Northerners threatened to stop bringing cattle and other ruminants down to the South West and meat became a scarce commodity, I mean we have a host of other sources of meat putting aside the fact that we can raise cattles better than they can, we have chickens, turkeys, goats, sheep, ducks, ostriches, fishes (catfish and tilapia), a number of farms raise cattles around here, then people started complaining and I was boasting about being able to supply my family’s meat requirements from rabbits alone, then the big question “how many other family can you supply rabbit meat to and be consistent with.”
“This question prompted increasing my breeding stock, increasing animals for fattening, advertising to people the possibility of living on meats from rabbits and also the possibility of making money from rabbit meat sales other than the subsistence raising of meat rabbits for home consumption alone with all attention on raising for let’s and for breeding, and thus far we are making great numbers in the amount of meat rabbits we are making a lot of sales and we are doing great.”
